The reef at Piran Point is the most vibrant part of the Slovenian Sea due to its fauna and flora. Its geological structure provides a safe haven for most species that inhabit this part of the northern Adriatic. Here you can find most species that live in this area and is the most diverse site on Slovenian coast.

At the point, two dives can be done: the northern and southern sides of the reef. This is very convenient because, in the case of strong winds from the north, you can dive peacefully on the southern side of the reef, and vice versa.

The maximum depth on the southern side does not exceed 12 meters, while the dive on the northern side ranges from 5 to 22 meters in depth.
